This was one of the best and most exciting vacations we had with the kids. The Mayan Riviera and Puerto Aventuras offer everything we could think of: snorkeling, diving (made my PADI OWD), nice restaurants, a beach right at the house and many more close by (one more beautiful than the other), mayan ruins, fun parks etc.
One of our highlights was a snorkeling trip to the whale sharks. It is one of only two places on earth where you can actually see and snorkel with these beautiful giants (from appr. July to mid September). The kids loved swimming with the dolphins in Puerto Aventuras and the great pool right at the apartment.
The apartment was great with everything in top condition and plenty of space for the five of us.
We cannot wait to come back!

Puerto Aventuras and its whole area really is a paradise! The beaches are white, the sea blue and there are palm trees everywhere. Everything is reachable in a few minutes and there are a lot of activities to do beside going to the beach. You can visit a cave or an old mystic Maya ruin.
Puerto Aventuras itself is beautiful and very safe. You can’t go in without being checked by guards. In the heart of the town is an amazing dophin, manatee and sea lion pool which offers you the opportunity to eat at one of the restaurants around and also watch dolphins jumping.
The condo itself is very clean and offers with its three bedrooms and two bathrooms, more than enough space for a whole family. Right in front of it is one of the beautiful beaches So if you are fed up with going to the beach, you can relax at one of the pools and enjoy the amazing sunset over the sea.

I have been to Casa Coco twice now and I can not say anything but WOW! It is so beautiful and safe in Puerto Aventuras. On my second stay I saw a dolphin giving birth. The different beaches in the surrounding area are really pretty and easy to reach. The beaches kept reminding me of “Pirate of the Caribbean”. So amazingly beautiful... The beach was not the only feature that made this my dream vacation. The condo, Casa CoCo is very nice and clean. I slept very comforatable and had everything I neeed. The pool area is great. There was no place where it was impossible for me to relax. During my stay I collected a lot of nice memeries that I will never forget. Thank you for my dream vacation, Viva Casa CoCo!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! Very comfortable and nice accommodations. Plenty of room for both our families. Minutes from many major attractions. Beautiful pool and beach area. Kids really enjoyed having the pool just outside our door.

One of the best vacation yet! Great weather, beautiful beach & ocean, amazing accommodations (top notch condition), good food, cheap beer, awesome nightlife (especially in nearby Playa del Carmen), etc. etc. etc. Will definitely tell others.

We didn't know what to expect on our first trip to Mexico. What a pleasant surprise! Of course the beaches and oceans were incredibly beautiful like in the pictures. Everything was up to Westernized standards- the roads are even better shape than in many US cities, the condo had all the modern conveniences of home, including a refrigerator that dispenses ice and spring water (with the hot weather we used this very frequently). We felt safe everywhere we went, especially in Puerto Aventuras with its 24/7 secured gated entrance. We were comfortable letting our kids walk from the condo to the Marina alone (including evenings). The condo itself was in tip-top condition. It was super convenient having the unit on the main floor right next to the pool- the kids ran in and out to eat/drink without having to climb stairs or take the elevator. Since flying to Cancun was so quick and relatively inexpensive (cheaper than flying to most major cities in the US), this will be the first of many vacations to the area.

Paradise! We love Casa CoCo and Puerto Aventuras- already trying to find ways to come back.
Gene and Gloria (Oct 2008):
We really liked your place, it was fully stocked. I loved that we could walk from the sliding glass doors directly to the pool, that was very cool. Your little binder that you had in the condo was a lifesaver, it laid out so much good info for us on local grocery shopping, local restaurants, and also driving tips and tips on what to do if you get pulled over by the police- so thank you for that!! We did laundry every day, so it was very convenient to have a washer/dryer in the condo.
I liked having more of a local (v. tourist) experience, and Mexico was much more developed than we had thought. If we had stayed at a resort (and not rented a car, shopped at local grocery stores, or driven around Playa del Carmen), we would not have seen that side of Mexico at all. So we are really glad for the experience.
Puerto Aventuras, although small, was also much more personal and less touristy than the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen. I'm glad that there were plenty of food options ranging from Italian to American to Mexican. I wished I had more time and opportunity to try more ceviche, flan, and have fresh caught fish cooked for me- that would have been fun.
We decided to go into Cancun for one day, and found it to be a total tourist trap. We definitely didn't care for it.
So overall we had a great trip spending lots of quality time with the family. We also got some good beach time and sun. Your place was great, thank you!!!

Wonderful!! Our first time to Puerto Aventuras and Casa CoCo. Before leaving we were already talking about when we can return again. Puerto Aventuras has so many activity options (e.g. fishing, parasailing, snorkeling, swim with dolphins, etc.) that we didn't have to leave the gated community during our stay. The staff at the condo complex (Quinta del Sol) were very nice and professional. Oscar was very helpful in answering our questions- he speaks great English. When we wanted an extra cleaning, he was able to accommodate the cleaning around our schedule. Felipe, the property manager for the condo, was also wonderful. He came and greeted us shortly after our arrival to make sure we were happy with our accommodations and asked if we needed anything.
One evening, we decided to stay in to eat so had Felipe come prepare a typical Mexican meal for us- it was delicious. We told him what we wanted to eat and drink and he took care of the shopping, cooking and cleaning. Thank goodness he also spoke great English since our Spanish is woefully weak.
We had such a wonderful relaxing visit and can't wait to return again- soon!
