How far away is the nearest International Airport?
The nearest International airport is located in Cancun, Mexico. Puerto Aventuras is short 45 minute drive south.
Should I rent a car?
Renting a car can definitely be useful, there is so much to see and do along the Mayan Riviera. Taxis are always readily available in the village and will drive you anywhere. If you are active then this can add up and equate to just about the same amount as a rental car if not more. If you choose to rent a car, all companies are located at the Cancun airport and can be booked online.
Can I drink the water?
Casa CoCo provides you with spring water that is connected to the refrigerator for ice and drinking water. Most modern restaurants will only use filtered water. Bottled water is able to be purchased everywhere. Brushing teeth is safe from the faucets.
Is Casa CoCo located on a sandy beach?
Casa CoCo is located on a beautiful, white sand beach. Shallow waters make there way out to an incredible reef full of tropical fish, live coral and sea-life. Make sure to take your snorkel gear! We recommend strolling down to the Omni resort to have a margarita at the tiki bar.
Can I use my cell phone in Mexico?
Some phone companies offer International plans that will work in Mexico. Please check with your phone carrier for more details.
Do you see sunrises or sunsets from the beach?
Sunrises, although the sunsets bring in vibrant clouds that are picture perfect.
Are the electrical outlets US standard or should we bring an adaptor?
The electrical outlets are all US standard.
